The three sizes

The episodes come from your Trakt calendar, the same source as the Upcoming tab in the app.
Adding one
- Sign in to Trakt in Showtime first. A widget with no account behind it has nothing to display.
- Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the icons start to jiggle, then tap the add button in the corner.
- Search for Showtime in the widget gallery.
- Pick a size and place it. You can add more than one, in different sizes, on different pages.
What widgets do not do
- They never write to Trakt. A widget reads your calendar and displays it. Nothing you see there can mark an episode watched.
- They require Showtime Premium. Widgets are part of the subscription, at $1.00 or 1 € per month, with a 7-day free trial.
- They follow iOS refresh rules. The system decides how often a widget updates, so a very recent change in the app may take a few minutes to appear.
